Studio Designer

A step-by-step guide for users to create custom apparel using the Studio Designer.

Overview

Studio Designer allows users to create custom apparel, with up to four design placements and a choice between direct-to-garment or embroidery printing.

Designing merch is seamless and intuitive:

1. Select Apparel: Choose a merch item to design.

2. Confirm Settings: Confirm print technique, color, and placement.

3. Upload Artwork: Upload artwork from your local drive.

4. Adjust Artwork: Modify size and location within the print area.

5. Save Design: Once satisfied with the selected placement, click Save.

If finished, click Next. Otherwise, select another placement option to add another design.

Print Techniques

Users can choose between two print techniques: Direct-to-Garment (DTG) or Embroidery.

Direct-to-Garment

Your design will be printed directly to the fabric using specialized inkjet technology. This method produces vibrant, detailed designs and is ideal for custom apparel with complex graphics.

Embroidery

Your design will be machine-embroidered on the product. Available embroidery options include left or center chest, right sleeve/wrist, and left sleeve/wrist. You can also add a DTG print to the back side.

Print Areas

Print area sizes will differ based on the apparel and print technique selected. Please see table below for print area dimensions for each apparel item.

Production Costs

Costs vary based on print technique and placement options. Below is a breakdown of placement costs for each print technique:

Direct-to-Garment (DTG)

• Full Front: Included in base price

• Back: $8.50

• Right Sleeve: $7.00

• Left Sleeve: $7.00

Embroidery

• Left or Center Chest: Included in base price

• Back (DTG): $8.50

• Right Sleeve/Wrist: $7.00

• Left Sleeve/Wrist: $7.00
