# Studio Designer

## Overview

Studio Designer allows users to create custom apparel, with up to four design placements and a choice between direct-to-garment or embroidery printing.

Designing merch is seamless and intuitive:&#x20;

1. **Select Apparel:** Choose a merch item to design.
2. **Confirm Settings:** Confirm print technique, color, and placement.
3. **Upload Artwork:** Upload artwork from your local drive.
4. **Adjust Artwork:** Modify size and location within the print area.
5. **Save Design:** Once satisfied with the selected placement, click **Save**.&#x20;

If finished, click **Next**. Otherwise, select another placement option to add another design.

## Print Techniques

Users can choose between two print techniques: Direct-to-Garment (DTG) or Embroidery.

### Direct-to-Garment

Your design will be printed directly to the fabric using specialized inkjet technology. This method produces vibrant, detailed designs and is ideal for custom apparel with complex graphics.

### Embroidery

Your design will be machine-embroidered on the product. Available embroidery options include left or center chest, right sleeve/wrist, and left sleeve/wrist. You can also add a DTG print to the back side.

## Print Areas

Print area sizes will differ based on the apparel and print technique selected. Please see table below for print area dimensions for each apparel item.

## Product Base Prices

Most, but not all, merch products allow for  4 print areas, but only 1 print area is included in the base price. Please see table below for the base price of each apparel item.
