Exchange Art Series > Metaplex Collection

This tool allows Artists who have created a series on Exchange Art to establish organized on-chain collections.

Importing an EA series is a simple two-step process:

1 – Create Collection

2 – Add NFTs

The main requirement is Update Authority. You must log into http://fostermarketplace.app with the same wallet that was used to create the Series.

Create Collection

Import EA Series

When creating the collection, switch the toggle to Import EA Series and enter the URL to your series on Exchange Art.

This will import the series name, description, cover image, and banner.

Review Collection & Create

Before clicking create collection, set the royalties you would like applied to all future artworks added to the collection.

You will be minting a collection token that groups the collection items.

Important: Do not transfer or burn the collection token.

Add NFTs

Once the collection is created on-chain, the creator can add artwork(s) to it from the collection page.

There are three different ways you can do this:

1 - Uploading new artwork

2 - Adding token IDs

2 - Import EA series NFTs

Uploading New Artwork

Adding Token IDs

If you choose to Add Token IDs you will simply copy and paste the token ID(s) you would like imported to the collection.

Preview Import

After clicking 'preview import' you will be taken to the Import Preview page to review all the tokens that are able to be imported succesfully, as well as those that are not able to be imported with an error message.

Import EA Series NFTs

Enter URL to Series on Exchange Art

If you choose to Import NFTs from your EA series, just copy and paste the URL to your series on Exchange Art - this will import all the NFTs from the series and nest the artwork in the collection.

Preview Import

Series that have multiple NFTs may take ~15-30 seconds to import

Important: Series w/ Editions

Printed editions are immutable once created, so they can't be imported into an on-chain collection.

Master Editions that are part of an EA series must be added to the collection before listing.
