# Studio Badges

The Creator Badge System in Foster Studio introduces a gamified experience to celebrate and reward user engagement. Creators and collectors earn recognition and tangible perks as they accomplish specific milestones.

## How It Works

### Earning Badges

* **Criteria-Based:** Creators earn badges by meeting specific criteria, such as designing their first merch item, achieving a certain number of sales, or receiving positive reviews.
* **Automatic Assignment:** Badges are automatically assigned once the criteria are met, ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience.

### Types of Badges

* **Diverse Achievements:** There are currently 10 different badges, each designed to acknowledge various aspects of a creator's journey, from initial steps to major milestones.
* **Customer Interaction:** Some badges also reward customers for their engagement, such as writing reviews or making multiple purchases.

### Perks and Benefits

* **Tangible Rewards:** Each badge comes with specific perks, such as free shipping, platform fee removal, custom packaging, and more.
* **Enhanced Visibility:** Certain badges offer creators additional visibility on the Foster Marketplace, helping them reach a broader audience.

### Displaying Badges

* **Profile and Store:** Earned badges are displayed on the creator’s profile and their official merch store, showcasing their achievements to all visitors.
* **Motivation and Engagement:** This visibility not only motivates creators to achieve more but also enhances their credibility and attractiveness to potential buyers.
